What information do we collect?

In order to offer you to use Dreams, we need to collect and process information about you. What information we collect depends on how you use the App and other services that Dreams Nordic AB offers and it is not certain that we collect all types of information that we describe below.

Information about you (”User information”): You need to create a user account to be able to use the App. When you register, we collect the name you enter, your e-mail address, your mobile phone number and your mobile phone’s so-called Advertising ID.

When you open your Dream Account with our partner Ålandsbanken Plc (Swedish branch), enter your social security number to the Bank of Åland. With the help of your social security number, the Bank of Åland retrieves the name you have in the population register. That name is shared by the Bank of Åland with us and we use it in the App. The Bank of Åland may also share your address and social security number with us.

To facilitate registration when you open your Dreams Savings Account, you can give us access to your accounts in your bank. We then collect information about which accounts you have and use that information to fill in the direct debit consent needed for you to be able to transfer money from your bank to your Dreams Savings Account.

Information that you enter in the App: Through the App, we also collect the information that you enter yourself. For example, information about your savings goals (what you dream of), photos that you upload in the App and information about when and how you save. In order for your experience of the App to be as good as possible by offering an optimal service, we combine different types of information.

Transaction information: When you use the App to save, you can generate transfers to and from your Dreams Savings Account or your Dreams ISK. We then collect information about how much you save and take out and how much you want to invest. The Bank of Åland also shares information with us when you sell fund units.

Support information and other communication from you: When you contact us, we collect personal information. This information may include User Information and other relevant information that you share with us about yourself. For example, we collect information about your contacts with our customer support, such as date, time, contact method, transaction information and the support topic. As e-mail is not always completely secure, we recommend that you primarily use the chat in the App.

Surveys: We may ask you to take part in various surveys that have to do with the service. It is voluntary to participate in surveys, but if you choose to do so, we may collect personal data as part of the survey.

Research: Dreams Nordic conducts research on behavioral economics, partly in-house, partly together with researchers affiliated with Swedish and foreign universities and higher education institutions (also outside the EU / EEA). The research aims, among other things. to increase understanding of how finances and behavior are related. We may collect information for research purposes about your savings behavior, ie the way in which you use the App.
